Connection to Oracle Database

Hi All,

Can i connect normally to a oracle database that in a different domain i.e its not on our domain .

Or do i need to use any custom connection.

Hi,

Oracle shouldn't depend on your domain.  As long as you have an IP connection to the Oracle server and the port is not blocked by your firewall, then you should be able to simply add the IP address into your TNS Names and then connect.
