Constant filters

Hi QlikView experts,

Another beginner question.

I'm using an Excel as input.

1. One of the column has only Y/N values in it. I want to add a constant filter (use only 'N' values) so that clear does not reset it. I can add a specific filter to an object but I was hoping not to do it for every object in the model.

2. Another column has only 'Y' or blank - I want to use the same constant filter (I can't even create this filter with a simple listbox as I see only 'Y' in the options.

1. You can select the value in the listbox and then lock the field. Right click the listbox and choose Lock.

2. You can't select nulls in Qlikview. You will have to replace the nulls with a real value in the script. See this document for information.

I locked the Y/N list and hidden it.

I'll go through the pdf in order to tackle the nulls.
