Dear,
I'd like to know what's the best way to hide/show heavy expressions in a pivot table.
For example : actuals - budget - variance - % - forecast 1 - budget - variance - % -forecast 2 , ...
Do I have to use conditional show or is it better to create a container that contains a chart for Budget , Forecast, ...
Thank you very much
Cheers
Thierry,
Have a look at the "What's new in Qlikview 11" Demo QVW.

In the Report tab you see a good way of handling your question.
Hope that helps,
Florian
thx for your response but my question is a question of performance.
should I use show conditionnal or a container?
regards
Hi,
As you've said your question is aboout performance, then I will suggest you use container as there is not calculation involve which might make it more quicker (optimised) compared to conditional show which has to calculate before show (not that this will make any massive difference, but little bit slower to container).
Hopeful this helps
Best Regards,
Gabriel
