Conversion of string in no

HI friends.....

                    I am facing a problem while working with the conversion from string to the number format.

I am fetcing the data from the excel sheet atached below.......but after using cross table...when I want to get the Year field ,it is showing me in the string format....so that's why I am not able to get the required fields.

Please do the needful

Hi Kamal,

  I couldnt find attachment in your post.

  Try using num function to convert the string into number.
