how to convert if statement to set analysis?

My if condition statement is

IF(TOOL='A','A1',IF(TOOL='B','B1','C1'))

Hi,

you can use pick & match for the same thing..

like this:  pick(match(TOOL,'A','B','C'),'A1','B1','C1')

Set expressions are filters, not branching constructs. Nested IF() or Pick() are adequate solutions for this type of operation.

Set Analysis can be used only in the Aggr function .

my suggestion use pick Function  as follows.

=pick(match(TOOL,'A','B','C'),'A1','B1','C1')
