Copy/Paste doesn't work - Copy/Paste No funciona

Hi all,

In all times developing in QV(since 3 years), i had this fool issue: Sometimes, copy/paste simply doesn't work.

I've tried with ctrl+c ctrl+v, right mouse button, menu... in W7, Wxp, Wserver 2005, 2008...  in laptop, pc, terminal...  but it just happens sometimes.

Do everyone has this situation?

Desde que desarrollo en QV (3 años) que me sucede esto: "a veces" no funciona copiar/pegar

Probé con ctrl+c ctrl+v, botón derecho del mouse, menú...  en W7, Wxp, Wserver 2005, 2008.. en una laptop, pc's, terminal...  pero simplemente pasa.

Alguno tuvo este problema?

Before copy/pasting your object, make sure that it does not have a "Show Conditional" expression. If the target report doesn't have the data associated to the expression, your object will disappear as soon as you paste it, and you would think that it's not pasting at all.

Chart Properties > Layout Tab > Show Always

Thanks Peter...  Sometimes, 5 times... Sometimes, 3 times....  I was working like this since a long time and Qlikview versions.

This is how it works. In W7, in Windows Server 2008, in W8.1.....

It happens only with Qlikview, in the most of systems with Qlikview.

Some Qlikview personnel who answer?

I would highly recommend you to use/upgrade  QV 11 SR 10.

Hi All,

I got the same issue when comes to copying and pasting scripts from one doc to another.

Reason is differences in either version itself or service releases (SR). If you try to copy script from a document developed using SR9, it will not work if you copy paste to a document developed using SR10. You have to retype the script in new version.

This applies even to section access also. You have to insert new.

I experienced this in several past SRs and therefore you have upgrade both client and server to same SR for better clarity.

I upgraded the QlikView version fro SR 8 to SR 10 and it works fine now.

I have this issue as well using 11.2SR10 on a windows 7 laptop. Very VERY annoying
