Counting overdue incidents for each month

Hi

I have an app that reports on closed incidents on a IT helpdesk. One requirement was to show how many calls are passed the target resolution time. For this I created an if(statement) in the script that gave me the count however when I add this as a line in a combo chart using the calendar month as the dimension it will only show what calls turned into overdue for that month.

I also need to create a count for calls that remained overdue and passed into the following month(s) before they were closed.

I.e. an incident became overdue in January and remained open until March which should count as a 1 for Jan,Feb & Mar. at the moment I count only January
