Create a dimension by grouping values

I have a table with helpdesk issues and one of the fields is NoOfDaysToResolveIssue. I would like to create a bar chart with a dimension that showed how many issues were resolved in a day, in less than a week, in more than a week and issues not yet resolved, respectively. How do I do this in the best way? Should I create a dimension field when loading the table or in the Expressions tab?

Magnus,

You need to created a calculated dimension like:

If(NoOfDaysToResolveIssue<=1,'In a day',if(NoOfDaysToResolveIssue<=7,'Less Than a Week',if(NoOfDaysToResolveIssue>7,'More than a weak','Yet to be resolved')

Add an expression as

count(IssuesID)

.
