I have a Qlikview report with a large number of filters (namely multi boxes, search boxes, list boxes and input boxes), situated along the left side of the page. They are beginning to exceed the height of the page and the user must not have a need to scroll down to see other filters. So, I would like to find a way of "splitting" the filters up into Basic options and Advanced options, allowing the user to switch from a small number of filters (Basic) to a larger number of filters (Advanced), if they wish. I would like to do this by presenting the user with a "Basic Search" tab, with 3 or 4 filters, and an "Advanced Search" tab, where the other filters would be shown. The Basic Search options would be displayed by default. There are also a couple of buttons along the bottom of the left pane, which would be available for use with either search option, so they would be outside the object that houses the Basic and Advanced options. So, the Qlikview page would look something like the image below.
