I am trying to generate a financial report within QlikView.
I have a spreadsheet that defines which accounts should print on each row, as per below:
Grp Account
1 1001
1 1002
1 1003
2 2001
2 2002
3 calculation: sum Grp2 - sum Grp1
I have added the grouping as a dimension to my pivot table, and shown partial sums to get total of groups 1 and 2.
I want to have more lines underneath that perform specific calculations, so not a strict sum of other rows.
I have tried to us set analysis to return the totals of groups 1 and 2, but it is still wanting to naturally sum by the dimension in my chart, i.e. 3.
I hope I have explained this well enough, with my overly-simplified example above. Any suggestions/examples of similar QVW's would be gratefully received!
