Hi,

Cross tables can be used in scenarios You have many Columns which can be clubbed into a single column..

Example;Sales for Months for Listed City; In this scenario  I have just taken 3 Months ; you can imagine the reduction of Columns in other such scenarios.

City	Jan	Feb	Mar
Delhi	50	30	20
Mumbai	60	100	20
Bangalore	100	20	60

After Cross Table :

City	Month	Sales
Delhi	Jan	50
Mumbai	Jan	60
Bangalore	Jan	100
Delhi	Feb	30
Mumbai	Feb	100
Bangalore	Feb	20
Delhi	Mar	20
Mumbai	Mar	20
Bangalore	Mar	60
