Currency within 2 dates

Dear All,

I have two datasources. One of them has invoice number, invoice date, amount and currency fields. The other one has currency, exchange rate, start date, expiration date. I have make a connection with concatanation of currency and date between two table.

Of course the invoice date must fall within 2 dates and give me back the right exchange rate.

Looking forward to having a solution.

Thank you

Roberto

Hi Roberto,

that's a clear case for IntervalMatch() - you have to match your invoice_date to an interval during which a specific exchange_rate is valid (defined by a start_date and an end_date)

=> Just what IntervalMatch() does.

You can use the intervalmatch function to match a date in one table with an interval in another. See this document: IntervalMatch and Slowly Changing Dimensions
