Current Month vs Previous Month Dif with Above()

Hi all,

I've created another discussion that is related to this subject:

current Month vs Previous Month

I was still not able to show the Value difference between current month and previous month in line chart.

When I put it a table it gives me the rigth values, but in a line char, it shows the wrong values.

Then I've found this discussion:

Above ( ) function in Line chart gives incorrect results

Using this expression that swuehl gave:

=aggr(

     YourExpression

, YearField, MonthField)

I was able to put the correct values.

But I still can´t show the right values for the first months: jan-2016 and jan-2017, and the last month: dez-2016.

I´ve attached my sample app. ( see Sheet 1)

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advanced,

Sílvia

Aggr() by default sorts its dimensional values by load order.

I think you need to sort your dimensional values in chronologic correct order, either in the load script, or using

The sortable Aggr function is finally here!

Thanks for your reply Stefan,

I've tried with the sortable aggr function in QlikView 12 and it works perfectly.

I've tried the same thing in QlikView 11 and it did not work? Is this solution only available for Qlik View 12?

Yes, I think it's only available for QlikSense and QV12, though I am not 100% sure if maybe it has been also added to latest SR of QV. It's a pretty new feature.
