Current Selections box - Not clearing

I have a qvw with 5 tabs. First 2 tabs are default state, Tabs 3 & 4 have one alternate state and Tab 5 has another alternate state. Current Selections box on tabs 3, 4 & 5 show me field value from tab 1 Multi box (this field value doesn't exist on tab 3, 4 or 5). I can't even clear this field value. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is it set to one selected value ?

Yes but I removed it and tried, still the same issue

There is a link to another post in there as well that you may have to go have a look at too.  Hopefully this may help you sort things out, I cannot think of anything off the top of my head, but I do not often work with alternate states.
