Current selection shows value if it is not selected

Hello,

I have a problem with what is shown in Current Selection.

Here is a problem:

This is my Default Selections:

Country and Year are always selected.

Notice in Month I have OCTOBER as grey.

See what happens when I select Aug+Sep+Oct:

So here is me selecting:

And here is what is left when i don the selection, or release the mouse pressed:

How come Current Selections shows that Oct is selected if it isn't?

Is here a way to fix this?

Even though you have selected Oct, it is also excluded because of the 2019 selection

Yes, it is excluded, but why it shows in Current Selection as selected?

I am not entirely sure if an inbuilt current selection can be changed around to change this behavior, but you can always use Current Selection Alternatives
