Hi Everyone,
When I create straight tables, I'm required to select a 'Style' - all of which are not in keeping with the design of the rest of my QV document. I want to customize the style, is this possible?
The key things I'd like to change are:
1. font
2. Header colour
3. Padding - One of my fields is a long text field which I have wrapped over 3 lines to give a better view of the description. However, this looks awful as they all run into each other, is there a way to put in cell padding so there is some sort of gap between each cell (vertically)?
Thanks
Gareth
Go to: Settings > User Preferences and check the box that says something like 'Always Display Design Items'.
Now Right-Click on an area of your Straight Table and select the new menu item 'Custom Format Cell' and away you go.
Alternatively you can turn the Design Grid on and the menu item will appear as above.
Hope that helps,

Hi Matt,
Thanks for that suggestion. I can change the font colour etc.. of cells within the table, but when I try to change the header names - any changes I make aren't reflected in the table. When I right click back in and check, the font colour has changed in that setting but is simply not showing as such in the table. Any ideas? My style now says [Custom] which shows that I've done something
Thanks
Gareth
Also, I still would like to customize table padding - this is vital to make these tables usable - otherwise it is so hard for one to differentiate the fields that it is horrible...
