Dear All,
I am first-timer here and before I begin, I wanna let you know this is one brilliant community for Qlikview....lots of discussions, lots of answers....a BIG help for beginners like me...any question I type, I get relevant answers in a jiffy !! thanks for that..
I have a query now, I am trying to make a (bar) chart with cyclic group. However I notice that the cyclic group selector always defaults to the bottom right hand side corner of the chart...with multiple charts in a sheet, if I place one bar chart at the bottom that has cyclic group (CG), the CG selector is only half visible and am unable to re-position it on top...It kinda looks little clumsy....
I checked all the chart properties, nothing visible on realigning the CG selector...Is it possible to re-align the selector on top/left right corner of the chart, if so....can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
-pprem
If your chart is active (click on title) and you press ctrl + shift red lines around the chart-parts appear and you can drag and resize them. You could it completely return within the chart properties in tab general (bottom left-side).

Thanks Marcus for the quick reply. I tried what you said...by pressing ctrl + shift I am able to re-position the chart, legends etc..but the CG selector is not highlighted with red frame/border, so am unable to move it.
Can you please post an image or the issue? I think the Cyclic group should be visible in full even if it is a small chart. Are you saying that customer has to use window scroll bar to see the full chart then you can align the charts in the sheet so that it will fit to the screen.
another way to do this is to create a list box and have the Cyclic group in it and then reduce it so that only the cyclic icon be visible then place it on your bar chart.
Keep the bar chart dimension Label off and keep it bottom layout. Like below.
There are several problems about position/visibility from dimensions/expressions groups by myself with QV 10 and with one dimension it couldn't move. If you have two dimension you could move one - perhaps you create a new dynamic dimension (value = 1) and hide the label ...
Maybe other/newer versions could it natively better ...

If your end users are fine with this then maybe you can use Horizontal Orientation in the Chart Style and that will keep your Cyclic Group to Top Left corner.
