DSN Creation Error for MySQL Connectivity hosted on LINUX

Hi,

I am trying to connect to MYSQL server hosted on LINUX.

While creating the System DSN I am getting the following error

[MySQL][ODBC 5.3(a)Driver]Access Denied for user

I have correctly entered Server IP,user and password.

Any help appreciated  .
