Hi,

Data island is some thing like a data which is not used in the data model or it is for any other reasons then it will a data island for specific data only.

Ex:-

Load * Inline [

DisplayName,Application Name

Sales Chart, Sales Trend

Purchase Chart, Purchase Trends

];

Or

Load * Inline [

Currency Name, Country

USD, USA

Pound, UK

];

Data Islands are usually small isolated tables that do not link to the data model directly.

They can be used to select values that are then used within set expressions, or for list boxes that control dynamic ad-hoc reports or other uses.
