Data and File Validations in Qlikview

Hi Friends,Past-3 days facing a problem.Is there Any Kind of File Format validating Mechanism in QlikView.We do have a Requirement to Validate A List of Folders checking each Folder and sub Folder and Contents in .txt,.xlx Files.   

Folder Format:

Shared Path:Data Folder consists of two sub Folders.Source 1 and Source 2

<Source 1><File Name><MonthYear>

<Source 2><File Name><Bytes><Monthyear>

eg:-SISTNSalesSep-14

Like above all .qvd,.txt,.xlx files will be in Naming format.Every month new Files will be coming and Is QlikView if Good Enough to Read a File Format and Validate it and through Exceptions we will have lot of Files to check for our App we need only Latest record Files in to App?Can any one please guide on this .In Programming Languages like Java,Linux we have solutions for that
