Data discovery in Qlikview

Data discovery is the different thing. Its is the term used to promote "Qlikview". You might have heard like Qlikview is data discovery tool. Direct discovery again a different thing

Actually, Data and Direct discovery are same. Here, I used one of my project because

1) I am pulling data from 2 different sources which is Impala and Postgresql

2) So, In impala we have simple flat files only but Postgresql does have images column and each image has around 580 MB size

3) I am connecting some drivers / packages to fetch the data and fortunate it takes long time because my DB size is around 20 GB.

4) So then, I thought to start in community with out creating and/or raising ticket to Qliktech but the moment i got idea related discovery (The idea come up to the mind - Because my earlier designation as an Business Analyst).

5) So, Finally i started myself only and used Direct Discovery released (2015). That i am following help itself to know the algorithm and syntax and it covers maximum in details among DIMENSION, MEASURE and DETAIL (Primary Key).

6) So, i used and it won't take much time to reload the data in connects without hesitate / reload from client environment too so then i wonder how big Data / Direct discovery..
