Data is reloading but not getting updated in Access point

Hi Guys,

My data source is excel. We will update data every week. When, I run in my desktop, application is running fine and data is getting updated. When I send the files to deploy them in UAT, All the files are running fine but the data is not getting updated in Access Point. Does anyone came across this kind of situation?

Have you looked at the logfile to see what is going on? The file is missing or if there is an error in reloading or did the reload went through smoothly? If I were you, I would start from there and then explore other options.

Yes, I did. Everything looks fine in logfile. The application got executed smoothly.

Any Section Access which might be prohibiting you from seeing the data?

I am the admin. I should have all access to see the data

If you have publisher does the task include the distribution to the server?

Did you check if the file on the server is updated or if there is another .qvw with the same name?

In the access point, application reload time is showing updated time stamp

Number of fields when I reload in desktop and number of fields when ran in UAT are same and all the applications are running smooth

I am not so much concerned about number of field. I am more interested in knowing if number of records loaded in desktop version are the same as the records loaded on the server?

Hi,

Get the file from the Qlikview server folder and check whether there is new data in the QV file, Are you loading the same file in the QV server, recheck this.
