Data marts used for projects in millions

hi

can any body tell me is qlikview how it deals data in millions.how it handles when performance tunning.

while coming to performance tuning reduction of data volume is needed then how to manage data marts .generally for this type of projects how many data marts will be managed.is qlikview can handle the  medium to large range projects.
