How do I calculate the number of days from today since a date in the format of 2/3/2012 1:55PM?

And how do I calculate the number of days between two dates in these two different formats - format 1 2/3/2012 1:55PM and format 2 12/12/2012 ?

No of days Bet two dates using Interval function is:

Interval ( Date(Date1)- Date(Date2) , 'D')
