Date Expression

Hi Can anyone please help, I am stuck.

I have data in my ecxel file of things that happen today, but I only want  a button to return data of things that happen starting from 06:00 AM until now. using this date format: 2012/03/09 8:15:19 AM

Thanks for you help, I am now able to select only the data from 6:00 AM until now, the other question I ask is how, If possible can I select the data that happen a week back starting from now, and a month back starting from now.

The one where you use a straight table works fine, the challenging one is when using a button, but you can check the example that was given by Perumal in his previous reply to see how he did it.

Please see the attached file,

-          The Daily Button Is the one we were working with, where it has to return today’s data from 6:00 AM.

-          Weekly Button has to return all the data that happened starting from now to 7 days back.

-          And monthly button has to return data starting from now to 31 days back.

The data has to be returned on the same table when a button is clicked.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Here's the solution. I'm not very good at working with dates, so you may find a "cleaner" solution, but for now, it works.

Thanks for the reply, the file you attached works fine, but can you do the same without using the Test_Date values but only using the Test_Date1 values some how when I use the values from Test_Date1 only it doesnt work, I guess due to the formating of dates.

The other thing that I just noticed now, if I change the fields and only use the values from the Test_Date1, it does not return any data from today.

Why can't you use the fild? Can you give me the excel file so I Can play with the formats? Or you can playwith them and invest your own time 😉

The Test_Date1 field is the one with the correct date format I have to use, I have been trying to play with the formats myself and they have started to be a bit confusing ☺
