Date Format for Y-Axis

Hi, I'm trying to add a date format to the Y-Axis and have not found a way to do this can anyone help?

Date Issue.png

As you can see I have a set of numbers on the right axis that relate to the dates - I've tried all sorts of formating but got no where.

Am I missing something as simple and a date button

Thanks Rob

Have you tried the date number format option in number tab in the chart properties?

Yes I did, you would think that that would have solved it but no!

Very odd - something so simple.

Thanks

Hi Sweuehl, throught plaing with the Static Min and Max and applying the date to the number format I have managed to get it to provide the year in intervals of 10 years.

It's a start - will keep going!

Thanks

AFAIR, QV will apply some of it's spare AI to the y-axis formatting, so depending on the range of values and the available real estate in the chart object, it will format the date as year only or using the full format specified (year, month, date). You can play around with limiting the range further or increasing the chart object to see the effect I am talking about.
