Date format in Send to Excel is number and not date

Has anyone had the issue where you click on the XL icon and the dates are exported to excel as their numeric equivalents and not as dates?

Some users see them as dates while others as numbers.

Its not problem in Qlikview, They have to change the format of excel sheet into date format.

are you talking about the autogenerate number of date in qliview..and send that to excel???

No. I do scripting to format my dates As yyyymmdd but when send to excel then export as number instead of a date
