Date loading wrong from XLS file but correct from XLSX file

Hi,

First week with QV and first post which makes me wonder if I've search enough before post, but I guess yes.

I load an excel file containting a date (MVT_DATE)as a time stamp. I can play with it in excel with =month() formula or so.

When I import the date filed into QV, QV seems to change the date change the date from something like Dec 28, 2011 to March, 03 2007.

This is not the case if I convert source excel file to XLX file. With an XLX file the date is imported accurately!

Did I missed something ?

Excel : Windows 2003.

QV : 10,00,9277,8
