Dates using wrong language??

Hello folks,

I have a weird scenario that has me stumped. I have developers in Mexico who are co-developing and application with me. For some reason, when I format a date to show the full month name (for example) the month is in Spanish. This does not appear to happen in all of the files they have co-developed. Does anyone have any insight?

The SET environment variables are as follows:

SET ThousandSep=',';

SET DecimalSep='.';

SET MoneyThousandSep=',';

SET MoneyDecimalSep='.';

SET MoneyFormat='$#,##0.00;($#,##0.00)';

SET TimeFormat='h:mm:ss TT';

SET DateFormat='M/D/YYYY';

SET TimestampFormat='M/D/YYYY h:mm:ss[.fff] TT';

SET MonthNames='Jan;Feb;Mar;Apr;May;Jun;Jul;Aug;Sep;Oct;Nov;Dec';

SET DayNames='Mon;Tue;Wed;Thu;Fri;Sat;Sun';

Thanks,

Mike

Try adding this to your environmental variable:

SET LongMonthNames='January;February;March;April;May;June;July;August;September;October;November;December';

Thanks Sunny. That resolves the issue. I'm not sure why this even happened in the first place. Typically LongMonthNames and LongDayNames is not needed.
