Days selected and their ordinal

I have a calendar (days) from which we select a few dates.

I want to get for each selected date, their overall ordinal or position in increasing order and the position (between dates) within the month

I have an aproach to the solution, but I need that the solution are independent of selection realised

(Sorry because my english is not good).
