Default selection cant be cleared

I see one particular selection in my current selection which cant be removed. Even if i try to clear it it still remains as default

I am trying to work on an app created by another developer.

Any help here?

check for any list boxes that use that field and remove the the always one selected value check

As Ramon said, check the filed is marked as always one selected in any listboxes. Or check whether is there any trigger to lock the field values in that sheet or in the document.

If the problem is not "Always One Selected", check that the Clear State is not set to something other than blank. On the menu Selections, click Reset Clear State. If it is grayed out, then the Clear State is already blank.
