Delete a bookmark

Hi,

How to delete a bookmark without writing a macro (since to be used in a Ajax environment) and using a button?

Hi,

I'd use the Bookmark object, that is exactly to manage bookmarks. Note that users will only be able to remove user bookmarks (created by themselves or shared with permissions), but not document bookmars (created by developers using QlikView Desktop).

Hi Sir,

Thanks for the prompt reply , are u talking of that bookmark which can be found by rightclicking on the button ,then clicking on properties then action then bookmark tab? if yes I found only options apply , create and replace . I didnt find the delete option .

Hi,

No, I mean right click on any empty area of your sheet, New Sheet Object, Bookmark object. There are not indeed actions to remove bookmarks.

You can create bookmarks

But you cannot delete them.

Sounds like working in print press.

Brilliant is complaining that 5 years ago a feature did not exist.

It is available for many years now, both in the bookmark object (though you will have to turn that option on) as in the bookmark menu.
