Delete attachment from post

I have posted a discussion which has now been correctly answered

I would like to delete the attachement for this particular post, but editing the document does not give me the option

Could someone kindly tell me how I either delete the post completlet and/or delete the attachment

Helen,

You can edit your post.  If it has an attachment, three is a blue 'X' next to it - it turns red when you move mouse pointer over it, and the tip says "Remove".  I never tried but looks like what you need.
