I have following issue:
In a Pivot table I have first Expression showing the sum of values per line, representing different values of the Dimension.
Second column should show % value of this amount related to a total.
e.g for total of 2 periods
Dimension Value % of NS Formula
Gross sales 120 120 ( GS/NS * 100)
Net Sales 100 100 (NS/NS *100)
Cost of sales 80 80 (CoS/NS*100)
When additional Dimension is activated (Period), the % relation is being calculated wrong.
e.g.
Period 1 2
Dimension Value % Value %
Gross Sales 60 60% 60 60%
Net Sales 50 50% 50 50%
Cost of Sales 40 40% 40 40%
what I am expecting is recalculating related to the Net sales of month
so:
Period 1 2
Dimension Value % Value %
Gross Sales 60 120 60 120
Net Sales 50 100 50 100
Cost of Sales 40 80 40 80
The Problem seems to be that for the denominator in the formula ( e.g GS/NS * 100) it is not clear that it should consider only the NS of period 1, but takes the Total value.
Any ideas how such Scenario can be fixed?
