Department wise total salary

Hi Every one,

    I have two tables listed below.

T1:

  Employee name                                salary

   A                                                                 2000

   B                                                                 3000

   C                                                                  4000

T2:

 Employee name                                    Department

     A                                                                       D1

     B                                                                       D2

     C                                                                       D3

So, based on the  above tables i want to calculate the total salary based on the department wise . which is the most optimized way

Hi,

load your data into qlikview or Qlik Sense, then try create chart with department as dimension and sum(salary) as measurement.
