Deploying Qlikview qvw from Local to server

Hi,

Can please let me know if I wanted to start a Qlikview project, How can I make changes to the QVW and deploy it to Server. Any changes I need to checkout ,do the changes and check-in?.

No. Simply open the qvw document in Qlikview Desktop directly, i.e. not with Open in Server, and makes the changes and save the document. If you are working with a local copy then after making the changes and saving the file you need to copy the update file to the server.

Updating the File to the Server means we would be having the file in Backup folder(Server)  and then updating the file to the Server.Could you please provide me the folder Structure and it should be the same in local as well as Server right.

So Here --> Finance ,HR and Sales are the different QV Projects and in Userapp we would be having different sub folders like Excel,QVD etc.. Right..
