Depreciation Challenge - calculating values for future dates

Hi community, I have a depreciation challenge and have attached sample data.

The context is that there is a historical dataset of devices. "today" is June 1 2013 on this example. In the background, we have generated future dates to track depreciation. (In this example, all data can be found in Excel file). Devices are activated on different dates and should not be shown in
Depreciation expression until after their Activation Date. The biggestchallenge I see is showing depreciation values for the "future" dates. Using the total qualifier does the trick, but adding in angle brackets ruins it.

Disclaimer - In the real life example we need to be able to change the depreciation rate via a variable, so I don't think this can be pre-configured on the back end.

Thanks for considering!
