Hi:
I'd like to know where to download the framework development and the documentation.
Thanks.
hi,
to download you need create a account, if you have the login here and can download, free version
http://eu.demo.qlik.com/download/
desktop, server , document, everything realted qlikview are there.
Hi.
Yes I have an account. It’s necessary to post here.
I’ve been in that page many times. I went there before I posted this question.
The thing is that I don’t find it. Do you know where to find it? Deployment Framework is basically an Administration container with some files inside that contain macros to create and recreate new containers. With DF developing expands to big companies that want to have everything organized by areas. This kind of development places scripts, variables, etc in different folders. Containers have permissions. It is like a cascade folder system with everything integrated on it. In the script you can’t see anything anymore except Includes. This framework takes care of all your path variables for you to get more confused. Every time you reload your new application, all variables are upload to get the right paths from the container you are working on. Also is a way to hide and complicate everything so non qlikview developers can’t see anything.
WHat I need exactly is the main folder called Administration, with the working files inside and the 4 whitepaper documentation that exists.
Have you heard about it? It is sort of new.
By the way, the downloader is a QlikView application. The search object is missing.
Thanks.
Hi Christian,
I guess you're talking about the QlikView Enterprise Framework (or similar resources).
If you're working with a Qlikview partner, you should have access to the Partner Portal from the main page of qlikview website. Inside you can find such resources.
Hi Christian...
yes its there for download, but you should have a partner account,
as a partner , i can see and download it....if you have partner account, then follow the link below.
...........................................................................
Details...
This .zip file contains the folder structure and all documents in the Enterprise Library. Once extracted you will see a hierarchy of folders (17) that hold all of the documents. You can extract this to a local directory or shared drive. Please do not distribute outside of QlikTech. Partners will have access to this as well, but not clients.
Is This Help full ???
Nope.
It is not Enterprise Framework. I've downloaded it.
I've just downloaded the Framework Development Deploy Tool. It's the only thing with that name. I don't know how to use it and if it is what I've seen before. No documentation is provided. It may be to new.
Thank you all for your answers.
Hi:
I've been there already. I've downloaded. I'm a partner (employee). Don't know how to use it. No documentation is provided. It is not called Enterprise Framework. It is called Deployment Framework. I have it on my desk already.

Hi again. I made it work. Create a folder. Open QlikViewDeploymentFramework. The one with an almost invisible icon. Write the path in Extract Location and push Deploy. Voila! Documentation is inside.
Thank you all for your answers.

Hi again.
If somebody uses it, please share your experience.
By the way, the name is Deployment Framework, not Development Framework as I started this post.
Thank you.
Hello Christian - my name is Michael Tarallo - I am the Technical Product Marketing Manager for QlikView and QlikView Expressor. I came across your post when searching for chatter on the QlikView Deployment Framework. I felt it may be helpful to let you know that I am taking the lead on creating materials to promote and support this tool. I had a 2 hour crash course on the tool by the lead architect. I must say this tool is absolutely amazing when considering QlikView for use in large multifaceted and Enterprise deployments. I plan on creating datasheets, technical briefs, white papers, video tutorials, blogs and more. I wanted to let you know that there is a complete set of comprehensive documentation when you setup the extract - by default it will be located here: C:\QV-Docs\SourceDocs\1.Production\Documentation. In summary this tool allows you to create a consistent and centralized core structure for a QlikView deployment. The structures (also known as containers) can be copied from location to location and still be functional in the new location. The tool allows you to set up shared resources, common connections, expressions, variables and other assets that can all be referenced by multiple QlikView applications. If you need to make changes, you make the change in one place and the application will reflect that change. Please stay in touch with me if you would like and stay tuned for more materials this quarter to come. In the mean time, I suggest you follow this documentation to get started.

Regards,
Michael Tarallo
