I have a data set that give me the open amount on my AR by month:
Month | Value |
---|---|
1 | 654 |
2 | 654 |
3 | 658 |
4 | 625 |
5 | 987 |
6 | 874 |
I would like to present this as the difference from last month:
Month | Value |
---|---|
2 | 0 |
3 | 4 |
4 | -33 |
5 | 362 |
6 | -113 |
I would also like this to change depending on the selection of months.
In the past I have always worked with a new data set for changes, but wondered whether there was a way to do this within an application.
Hi,
Try like this,
sum(Value)-above([Value])
Thanks for the response. I can see how that would work if the table is sorted by Month, but it's nowhere near as robust as a new data set.
You can try this approach
Where the AsOf month relates to the month and the previous month? That's a great idea! I'll play around with this approach.
