Dimension format when having column labels

Dear Experts,

In a pivot table I am formatting the background of a dimension; it is working fine when all the dimensions are in the row labels once I switch a dimension to the column labels and keep the formatted dimension in the row labels the format is not working anymore.

Anyone can help?
