Disable zoom feature on drag selection

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how to disable the zoom feature on drag selection?

Is there a way at all to do this?

Could u plz elaborate a bit more? What r u dragging and which part is getting zoomed? Better show a screenshot.

Please find below the screenshots.

On dragging and selecting the lines, the line chart zoom's in to show only those time periods which were selected. I want to disable this.

On Selection:

After Selection:

Go to Chart Properties>> General Tab>> Enable the check box "Read Only" >> Apply>>Ok.

Check this and plz let me know if this helps.

I do not want to make it "read only" as I want to make a selection in this chart and update other charts according to the selection. For e.g. Each line represents a manufacturer and when I select a manufacturer on this chart other charts should get updated. I just do not want this chart to zoom in and show the reduced time period on selection.

Hi,

Is it possible for you to Detach the chart? Right click and do it.

If not, try using Alternate States (ver. 11). let me know for help

Hi,

I understand alternate states and detaching but I guess none of them will accomplish what I want coz this chart has to be linked to others and update when there are selections made.
