We have a QlikView document with a restricted access for normal users. We used a Section Access and some security settings to achieve that. For instance in user mode one is not able to access the properties of an object.
However the ‘Advanced Search’ option is still available. What the problem is that when the dialog is opened an user can see all variables and he is even able to see the system variables. We consider this a security issue as some information shouldn’t be known to a user. Is it someway possible to limit the fields, variables etc. visible when a document is opened in user mode?
And if that is not possible, can we disable the ‘Advanced Search’ option?
