Disabling the selection in Straight table

I have a straight table in report and by default QlikView allows to do selection on any row after which only single row is displayed. Can we disable this behavior ?

I want the straight table to be static, means it should not be clickable. Please let me know if this is doable in QlikView.

Thanks,

Samir

Hi Samir,

It is possible to make any charts "Read Only".
you can do that on the General tab of the object properties.

Is this what you are looking for?

Right click on the table and 'Detach'. This will make the table 'Read Only', but with the added benefit that it will honor your selection in the table for other objects.

Regards,

Dinesh.

Hi Dennis,

It worked. I was searching for the read-only property, but somehow missed to search it on "General" tab.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Thanks,

Samir

Hi,

In Qlikview,

Straight Table / Pivot Table are Type of Chart.

Max,

Sorry I meant Table Box.

For Chart, is there a way not to display the phrase '(Detached)' in the caption when the object is detached ?

PrashantSangle

Hi,

there is no detached option for Table Box.

If you want detached behaviour you have to use straight table or Pivot table.
