Disjointed line chart between two fiscal years

Hi all,

Please could you help with some strange issues. I have a break in charts where a new fiscal year starts. The first chart is a line chart and as you can see from the attached slide, there is a break between March 2015-16 and Apr 2016-17.

The dimensions are MonthName, Fiscal_Year and the Expression is sum(CompletedProducts)

In the second chart, I have RAG rated the columns and if the current month is higher than the previous month, then Green, Else Red. It works for all other columns but when the year changes from Dec to Jan, it doesn't work (row 3, 7, etc.)

The dimensions are (Site, Department, Target, Fiscal_Year, Months) and the expression is sum(CompletedOps)/Sum(ListCount).

Under Background colour, I have the below expression.

=If(Len(Target)>0 And SUM(CompletedOps)/Sum(ListCount)>=Target, RGB(60,255,40),

If(Len(Target) =0 And Before(SUM(CompletedOps)/Sum(ListCount))<=SUM(CompletedOps)/Sum(ListCount), RGB(60,255,40), RGB(245, 80, 0)))

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

hi

for your first graph

just remove the year dimension and you'll have a smooth line.

usually you use the year dimension if you want year to year comparison.

for the second chart it seems the before function isn't working between years

but i'll need sample app with the data to look at it

Thank you very much Liron for helping with the first graph.

I am doing some testing again with the second graph. I will send it to you shortly once I'm done.
