Display Row No in Dimension Straight Table

Hi All,

Im having difficulties to put RowNo(Total) in dimension as calculated dimension.

When I put as the first dimension it display as null value ('-'). No issue if im putting the RowNo(Total) in expression.

However m,y requirements is to put the RowNo in the first column of the straight table.

Thanks!

If it is a straight table, why don't you create it as an expression and then drag this expression to be ahead of any of your dimensions?

Else you can try this

Aggr(RowNo(TOTAL), Dim1, Dim2, Dim3, ....)

But this will sort the data in load order, which may not be what you want.

Hi Sunny,

I never thought to just drag the expression in Straight Table. I thought the dragging is only for pivot table.

Thanks so much Sunny
