Distinguishing similar values

In one table I have got transactions data which contains a column called DIS_CODE.

In another table I have DIS_CODE and DIS_DESCRIPTION.

Qlikview is connecting these two tables correctly. However, when picking up the description when the Code in transaction table says 250 it is picking up 250.00 from description as well as description for A250. These are two separate codes but it is not distinguishing it. Likewise it is not distinguishing between 650.00 and A650.

Any particular reason why and how this can be avoided.

Hi,

I would recommend you attach your app to this thread for people to look at. It's quite difficult to replicate this as there could be many causes.
