Hi All,
I have scheduled a task based on 'another event'.
I have two files: file1.qvw and file2.qvw
file1.qvw is schedule on EDX, that's running fine.
After completion of file1.qvw, file2.qvw is also running file.
But I wanted to distribute this file2.qvw in a shared folder. Till today it was running fine.
File2.qvw is reloaded and closed, just it's not distributed on shared path.
Any ideaes are well welcomed. . .

Hi,
Are you using publisher?
since this is a distribution to a shared folder, probably he is using publisher,
does the document appears in the folder on disk and not on the accesspoint?
Hi,
He wants to distribute to a shared folder, not the same as being able to...
"But I wanted to distribute this file2.qvw in a shared folder. Till today it was running fine."
Hi Brijesh,
If you are using a Publisher (QMC), go to System tab>> Set up tab>>Select QV Server (from left pane)>>Documents tab, make sure that the option "Allow document upload" is enabled (Tick Mark).
If it is not enabled, it might be failing for that reason.
Regards!!
Yes, I agree most likely they are using publisher. It is a control question just to make sure because sometimes we don't use the correct terms.
As Brijesh is not getting any warnings I assume it is not a problem with access rights to the shared folder, however if the document is not visible from accesspoint but is present in the folder you might just still want to check the access rights on folder and file to make sure the users have read permissions.
I would also start looking at the actual task and check the distribution tab to check to see if any changes have been made there and also make sure the folder is browsable (System --> setup --> QlikView Servers --> Folders).
Yes.. Documents is reloaded by publisher and also it is saving the QVW in my E drive.
After that I am distributing it in a shared folder between two servers which is not happening...
Yes.. I am using publisher
Thanks nill...
I have 25 dashboard, out of them 23 are well distributed to shared path, just 2 are not distributed. . .
