Do I need to have Qlikview installed on the SQL server for doing Incremental Reload ??

I have Qlikview installed on SQL server, on this server I am running a scheduler for Auto Reloading. This helps me to create and update QVD on the server. I am writing incremental reload Code on the file which I use on desktop. Whenever I reload desktop file it brings the updated data in its QVD from the QVD which is residing on the Server.

Let me know if this process is correct? or there is not need to have QVD on the Server.

Hi Meghana,

There is no necessity of having QlikView installed on the SQL server.

You can hav ethe QVD in your local PC and still fetch the data from SQL server to do incremental loads.
