Hi Krishna,

Have you distributed the application again to users after providing of doc/named cal?

If in case if you added the new user for the existing report then you again need to distribute.

Correct me if am wrong.

AFAIK the only reason left why this user cannot access the document in QlikView Access Point is maybe that your user uses a different logon?

Did you know that in QMC there is a simple method to check whether a user has access and to what specific documents? Goto QMC->Users, enter the Windows logon ID that is shown on the user's AP screen in the top right corner and click the search icon (magnifying glass). The tabs to the right will detail what this user is allowed/not allowed to do, according to QlikView Server.

One other question: the error message you posted is kinda strange: usually the AP will say something like "Access Denied: no CAL assigned..." or something. Is this the correct message?

Peter.

The Named CAL should grant the user access to all documents. BTW once you have assigned a Named CAL to a particular user, there is no need to give that user any other CAL. I guess you did this because of the problems in opening a single document. Just remove the Document CAL, it's still unused (the Last used-field contains nonsense)

Ok, you found the QMC->Users tab. Check the last tab (Documents) to see whether the document is actually present in this overview (I guess so)

Ask your user to send you a screenshot of the Access Point landing page, i.e. the page where the thumbnails of all published documents are shown. The top right corner is of particular interest to us.

Best,

Peter.

All relevant info has been wiped out, hmmm.

Is the account name you are using in QMC->Users exactly the same as the one listed on the AccessPoint page? Is the application appearing in the Documents tab of QMC->Users?
