Document Analyzer Ram Footprint & RAM occupied by field both are different

Hi All,

I am using Document Analyzer to run some tests again my document. After following Extract Metadata & Reload  i am getting result for RAM footprint.

I wanted to understand few things. Results remain same irrespective of user of  -prj directory.

1. In the Result Ram Footprint is significantly less then RAM occupied by fields.

for example, in attached snap RAM footprint is only ~90 MB, whereas Ram occupied by fields is  ~1GB.

Why such behavior?

2. What does RAM footprint signifies, is it the RAM which will be in use when dashboards get loaded into the server?

3. Should RAM footprint not have combine value i.e. ~1GB+ ~90Mb = ~1100Mb , what would be correct measure for performance tuning in this case

Also would like to understand Memory tab  in DA.  Few queries.

1. What is per user memory ? from name it seems it will be  RAM occupied on server. by each new user opening dashboard in addition to RAM footprint.

2. What are cues we can get from Memory TAB to tune document further.

Appreciate help on clarifying this items.

Thanks

Ravi

That appears to be a bug in DA.  If you can contact me at Contact | Qlikview Cookbook, I'd like to arrange to see the document analyzer.qvw.
